Remembering Your Why: Resetting Adult Culture for Success

Wed., Jan. 26 1:00pm ET
Wed., Feb. 2 10:00am ET

Facilitated by Sundiata Salaam

AUDIENCE:

Chief Executive Officers, Chief Operating Officers, Principals, Assistant Principals, Deans of Students/Culture, Directors/Managers of Operations, Grade Team Leads, Instructional Leaders

DESCRIPTION:

As the job of the school leader becomes increasingly more stressful during the year, it becomes difficult to fulfill the school’s mission with sincerity. As a result, leaders can find themselves in the middle of a school culture that is antithetical to achieving success. Remembering your “why” will remind leaders how to tap into their motivation for the work in order to ignite change. This session is perfect for leaders who want to reset and maintain a strong and successful adult culture in their buildings.

OBJECTIVES: Leaders will be able to
  • Analyze their school’s adult culture in order to pinpoint positive trends and areas of growth
  • Identify and expand their “personal “why”
  • Develop tools to reset adult culture while realigning with your personal “why”
