As a Director of Leadership Development, Erika leads each cohort of Fellows in school study, trains to elements of quality school design, and coaches them in leadership voice and presence. Erika leads the Weekend Warriors team in designing and executing strong trainings for ambitious educators looking to learn from high performing charter schools and achieve results for students. She also works closely with the Follow On Support team supporting coaching in schools across the country. Erika has served as the founding principal of two high performing charter schools for Goodwill Education Initiatives in Indianapolis, Indiana. Before her work as a school leader, Erika was a TNTP Fellow teaching high school math and science. Erika also worked as an instructional coach for her school and for TNTP. Erika received a Master of Arts in Secondary Education from Ball State University, a Master of Arts in Teaching in Mathematics Education from Marian University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Psychology from Purdue University.
