Interested in the BES Fellowship Outside of Our Priority Regions?

Fellowship placements in any of the regions listed on the BES Fellowship page are made possible by local funding and support from our various regional partners, with an additional 1-2 placements per year made possible through national funding that can be flexibly allocated to regions with demonstrated community need.

While we do not have a dedicated partner in any of the following regions at this time, we believe there is an opportunity for a leader to found a new charter school in one of these regions. We encourage serious candidates to submit an application for one of the states listed immediately below, especially candidates who have begun initial community engagement work and/or have deep connections to the community in which they are proposing to found a school:

• Arkansas
• Iowa
• Massachusetts
• Rhode Island
