Growing up in Atlanta, GA, China’s formative years instilled in her an indelible appreciation for the profound impact of education. Armed with a prestigious degree in Economics and Applied Mathematics from Harvard University, China Cardriche embarked on a mission-driven career dedicated to community service, serving as an educator and leader in various capacities. As a high school calculus teacher, coach, and National Honor Society sponsor in San Antonio, China witnessed firsthand the profound influence of mentorship and equitable educational opportunities. Leading with a heart full of compassion and a steadfast commitment to excellence and innovation, China’s most recent role was serving as principal of Compass Rose Legacy High School, where she helped found the high school and worked closely with her team to create an environment where every student had the opportunity to realize their potential. In addition to her work within schools, she also owned and operated a small business in Atlanta called “China 4 A Change” that created educational lesson plans tailored to individual clients.
China also holds a Master’s degree in School Leadership from Trinity University and continues to be a driving force for change in the realm of education.
