After starting her career as a high school math teacher in the Cleveland Metropolitan School District, Dr. Luciana Gilmore earned a Master’s degree in Instruction and Curriculum with a focus in Special Education from Cleveland State University. She later completed a second Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from the same university, which allowed her to progress to positions as an Assistant Principal, Principal, and Founding Principal within the district. Dr. Gilmore then expanded her expertise beyond the classroom by establishing an educational and leadership consulting firm, Novaturient Industries.
Concurrently, Dr. Gilmore pursued her Ph.D. in Ethical Leadership and successfully defended her dissertation at St. Thomas University in Fall 2022. Her work in this field has resulted in collaborative efforts that have introduced innovative reforms, the implementation of best practices, and the achievement of tangible outcomes for various organizations and partnerships.
