Shaped by the nurturing embrace of her own community during her formative years, Kiara Procter’s journey has been defined by her impassioned dedication to uplift those around her and support students and families. Throughout her distinguished 12-year career in education, Kiara has been a steadfast advocate for equity and empowerment, particularly in Title 1 schools. Armed with a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Denver, she champions the inherent strength and potential within the communities she serves. 

At the heart of Kiara’s educational philosophy lies a dedication to data-driven instruction, recognizing that insights gleaned from data inform effective teaching strategies. Her approach places a premium on providing tailored instructional support while nurturing the innate leadership qualities and wealth of knowledge he students possess. This ethos stems from her tenure at Florida A&M University, where she imbibed values that continue to shape her professional and personal priorities. Kiara founded McGlone Middle School in Denver, CO, where she spearheaded initiatives that empowered students and families to advocate for their needs, as well as created an environment where every individual can thrive.
