Leadership Intensives

Leadership Intensives (LIs) sharpen the skills leaders need to lead a transformational school. LIs support leaders at integral periods of the school year by equipping them with strategies to solve some of the most common leadership challenges.

Through action planning and analysis of proven practices, participants learn how to effectively lead and manage their organizations, so that they can concentrate on the goal at hand: equitably educating all students and improving their academic performance.

Leadership Intensives are for all K-12 school leadership team members across various roles.

Whether you’re a school leader, teacher, instructional coach, network director, or leading from the operations office, or leading a grade level or content area, Leadership Intensives have something for you. 

Atlanta, Georgia (February 9 to 11, 2026)
INSPIRING, EQUIPPING, AND MOTIVATING TEAMS

This Leadership Intensive will guide you to both a strong close and a strong start in 2026. Sessions will include strategic planning for next school year as well as workforce engagement and recruitment. 

• Deadline to register: January 5, 2026
• Visit the following K-12 schools: Amana Academy, Atlanta Neighborhood Charter School, Drew Charter School, Ethos Classical
• Our two-day experience including 2 school visits and 8 hours of PD training is $1,000 per leader. Our three-day experience including 4 school visits and 10 hours of PD training is $1,500.
• Local leaders in the Atlanta area who do not require hotel stay are eligible for special pricing: $750 for two days, $1,000 for three days
• Schools who register 4 or more leaders will receive a 10% discount (applied automatically at checkout).

Boston, Massachusetts (March 9 to 11, 2026)

Learn strategies to maximize teaching and learning during testing season, strengthen culture and staffing practices, and identify clear priorities that will drive success next school year.

• Visit the following K-12 schools: Boston Prep Charter School, Boston Collegiate Charter School, Community Charter School of Cambridge (and more)
• Our two-day experience including 3 school visits and 8 hours of PD training is $1,200 per leader. Our three-day experience including 4 school visits and 8 hours of PD training is $1,500.
• Local leaders in the Boston area who do not require hotel stay are eligible for special pricing: $900 for two days, $1,000 for three days
• Schools who register 4 or more leaders will receive a 10% discount (applied automatically at checkout).

The cost for Leadership Intensives vary based on the content and length of sessions, ranging from $1,000 to $1,500 per leader. Special discount pricing is available for those who register 4 or more leaders, and local leaders who do not require hotel stay.

Price includes hotel nights, meals during training, and ground transportation to schools. It does NOT include airfare, additional hotel nights, airport transportation, or meals outside of training.

BES delivers custom Leadership Intensives for those seeking more tailored content for their leaders. We partner with you to design training or workshops that are specific to your unique context. These sessions are ideal for groups of 5 or more leaders from the same school, network, district, or organization.
