As Associate Director of Talent and Recruitment for BES, Shakedra Ross (she/her/hers)manages all operational aspects of BES Talent and Recruitment work. Previously, Shakedra served as Talent Director of Baker Ripley – Promise Community Schools in Houston, Texas where she was responsible for all talent planning and design initiatives. In her experience in education over the past decade, Shakedra has served primarily in talent roles centering diversity, equity, and inclusion in her work. Shakedra was drawn to BES’ mission to support strong schools and strong leaders. She leverages her experience as a classroom educator and talent professional to the Associate Director of Talent and Recruitment role. She is most passionate about this work because she knows the impact that talent and recruitment can have on the lives of students. Shakedra received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Texas.
