As Associate Director of External Affairs, Brittany Worley (she/her/hers) conducts research, ensures smooth operational systems, and supports robust cross-functional knowledge and relationship management to steward key stakeholders. With 12 years of experience in the K-12 nonprofit space, Brittany has built a career around her passion – dismantling inequitable systems to ensure everyone has the access, tools, and support they need to lead fulfilling, meaningful lives.
Prior to joining BES, Brittany oversaw the revenue generation strategy for the Southeast region as a Director of Partnerships and Development at New Teacher Center. She also spent 9 years at TNTP focused on talent strategy consulting and online coursework development. Brittany has a BS in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the University of Tennessee and a MA in Higher Education Administration from the University of Mississippi. Originally from East Tennessee, Brittany currently lives in Memphis with her husband and two daughters and enjoys running, reading, baking, and going to concerts.
