As the Director of Recruitment, Rene Davis is responsible for setting the vision and direction for the BES Fellowship recruitment process. Rene brings a wealth of experience in talent acquisition and leadership development. Prior to joining BES, Rene began her career in education as a high school math teacher through Teach For America in Houston, Texas.
Rene Davis is a dynamic professional with a diverse skill set that spans across education, leadership, and talent acquisition. With a passion for both teaching and fostering professional growth, Rene has excelled in roles as a teacher, instructional coach, assistant principal, and talent recruiter. Her holistic approach to education and talent acquisition reflects a dedication to creating environments that foster growth and excellence. In her most recent role, Rene served as a Managing DIrector of Talent and Leadership Development where she led DEI recruitment initiatives, cross functional Workday change management projects, and training programs.
Rene holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership. Outside of work, Rene is a community advocate, fitness enthusiast, adventure seeker, and culinary explorer.
