Shakedra Ross (she/her/hers) is the Associate Director of Talent and Recruitment at BES, where she oversees all operational aspects of talent and recruitment initiatives. Previously, Shakedra served as Talent Director for a Houston-based charter organization, leading talent planning and design strategies. With over a decade of experience in education — spanning classroom instruction, talent management, and operations — Shakedra prioritizes diversity, equity, and inclusion in every facet of her work. Shakedra was drawn to BES’ mission to support strong schools and strong leaders. She is passionate about this work because she’s seen firsthand how the right talent and recruitment decisions can transform a student’s educational journey. She leverages her experience as a classroom educator and talent professional to the Associate Director of Talent and Recruitment role.
