Upcoming Events
Fall 2026 Leadership Intensive: Building School Systems That Work
OCTOBER 6-8, 2026 | NASHVILLE, TN | REGISTER HERE
Results don’t happen by accident. They happen when you build systems and practices that are intentionally designed and executed at a high level. October is particularly important. It’s when cracks in systems start to show and decisions made can set the tone for the rest of the school year. This Leadership Intensive will provide leaders with the space to examine a system in their school with honesty, understand where it’s breaking down, and strengthen it so it can be tested when they get back. Leaders will approach the redesign using six key lenses for implementation: Purpose, Process, People, Effectiveness, Improvement, and Alignment. Additionally, they will have the chance to observe strong systems in action during visits to exemplary schools.
School visits will include Purpose Preparatory Academy Charter School and LEAD Southeast High School. Those who attend the three-day experience will have the opportunity to deepen their instructional lens through guided instructional rounds at Nashville Classical Charter Schools – East. They will also participate in an Equity Excursion where they will reflect on their leadership through the lens of the systems and cultures that shaped Music City, and tie it back to their own practices.
